Dog Walking

All dogs will be exercised to the owners requirements. We have sound knowledge of all different breeds, and therefore can vary the dogs walks according to the individual dogs needs. i.e. shorter walks for puppies and post operative dogs.

 We are also very used to owning and exercising the more active working type breeds that need good long runs with plenty of stimulation along the way. If you would like your dog taken into town to get used to traffic and general socialization this can be arranged.

Owners will be required to answer some general questions regarding the habits and behaviour of their dog before we accept the dog. This is to enable us to make sure we have all the necessary information regarding your dog so as for it to be safe at all times when in our care.

Walking can be made fun as well, playing training games along the way with toys and tit bits. In the summer months, we will endeavor to walk in cool wooded areas or places where the dogs can get to water and rest in the shade, and in the winter months all dogs will be towel dried before coming back into the house if wet. Each dog will be examined after their walk as a safety check to ensure they are happy and healthy when we leave them. All dogs will be handled with the greatest of care as if they were one of our own.
